In Ftelia, a discreet and minimal, in terms of volume construction was requested for holiday residence with owners wanted to acquire additional space without imposing on one another and on the landscape site. The resulting architecture lingers between the scenic and the Mykonean vernacular; the consecutive arrangement of residence volume, entrance hall and living area enforced a linear ground floor development showcasing the scenery whereas volumes protrude outwards to economize on interior space. Interior and exteriors are dark so as to blend nicely with the stoned scenery and not to disturb the natural landscape that surrounds the properties.
